Kissy Kissy!

You're a Romantic Kisser

For you, kissing is all about feeling the romance
You love to kiss under the stars or by the sea
The perfect kiss involves the perfect mood
It's pretty common for kisses to sweep you off your feet

What Kind of Kisser Are You?

Promise

My Dear Michiganders,

Remember, you only have four more months.

And then...

Come Now, Let Us Reason Together...

Yep, just sittin' here waiting for my laundry. Can't do a darn thing else...

But it's ok though. I really like watching clothes wash. There's an old toothbrush that I use to fool the washing machine into believing that the lid is down. I suppose it's a safety precaution to engineer washing machines so that they only work with the lid down. Goodness knows we'd hate for someone to fall in. So I stand here, toothbrush in one hand, chin on my other...

Round and round it goes making lots of bubbles, just a' sloshin' and a' splashin' and a' scrubbin'...

I wonder why I like to watch laundry so much?

Maybe I just like to watch work...

Gosh, I'd make a great supervisor.

Hey Cheese Head! Shut UP!

We've had a Minnesota Winter so far this year. That is to say, my perception of a Minnesota Winter, based soley on my one and only experience in Minnesota in the wintertime.

Michigan winters have never really been "too bad" in my Texanish estimate. I mean, sure it's cold, but there are times - I remember them vividly - that Texas felt colder. The optimum word, of course, is "felt."

See, in Michigan during the winter, the weather moves across Lake Michigan, picking up moisture and continuously dumping it - first and foremost on St. and Mrs. D in Holland - then on us here in the GR. While this may sound like proof positive that Michigan is a freezing wasteland, I assure you that those clouds are truly are best winter friends.

They're fluffy, blue-grey blankets that keep us warm! I love you clouds! Come back to me!!

When I was in Minnesota, there were NO clouds (nor trees or hills or anything else for that matter) and a TON of wind. The snow was not as deep - though they tell me they can get dumped on in the wink of an eye. But here be the deal - it was STANKIN' COLD!!!

I'm talking about every little warmth you could find was mercilessly swept away in a moment! And day and night there was wind whipping at the houses and through the cars and around the corners. Everyday, the sun was just shining away up there in the sky, but you couldn't feel a bit of warmth - not any at all!

Well, this winter here in Michigan, I'm telling you...it feels too much like Minnesota. Where's all this wind coming from?

Would someone go tell the good folks of Wisconsin to SHUT UP?

Lovin' Lupin

(Spoiler Alert - some information concerning Harry Potter characters.)

Just a public service announcement...

I'm also "in love" with Remus Lupin as well as Professor Snape.

You understand, this is the reason I'm single right? I'm "in love" with a werewolf and a former Death Eater? Yeah, I don't even pretend anymore...

Something

The age of knowing
and all about -
the raindrop falls in drowning drought.

Of something past
we could not see
the thing - the things that could not be.

In time and doubt
we could not buy
the risk and warning of this lie.

And tort' and taught
we trembling team
this growing mass of coffee bean

yet there in farthest corner wakes
a silence in the silence breaks.
